Announcing Organizing Call on September 20th 8PM ET

Hey Everyone,

My name is Bashar Makhay and I along with a few of my friends are looking to create a large presence of SouthWest Asians and North Africans at Creating Change 2012, but we only have until September 30th to submit our ideas to the conference organizers. The 25th National Conference on LGBT Equality: Creating Change is coming to Atlanta, Georgia and the Hilton Atlanta, January 23–27, 2013. Creating Change is THE premier annual organizing and skills-building event for the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community and their allies in the United States.

If you are Queer and SouthWest Asian and North African  join us for an organizing call this Thursday, September 2oth at 8PM ET.  The call will discuss the following:

  • Overview of Creating Change
  • Opportunities to engage at Workshop, Caucus, and Reception level.
  • Brainstorming
  • Development of Action Plan
